Girls Rising Strong — Year 3 Enrollment Now Open
Program Vision:
Building Resilient and Brave Leaders
Mission Statement:
Empowering young girls to rise strong by cultivating resilience, bravery, and virtuous character traits through a proactive, whole-child, and faith-based program.
📍 Who It's For:
Open to 9th Grade Girls only
📘 Program Overview:
Girls Rising Strong (GRS) is not your typical halaqa or academic class. It’s a transformative, character-driven experience that walks girls through adolescence—equipping them with the emotional, spiritual, and social tools to grow into strong, self-aware, and principled young women.
Girls engage in bi-weekly sessions featuring:
-
Interactive lessons rooted in developmental psychology and Islamic values
-
Hands-on activities, group reflections, and mentorship
-
Opportunities to build deep friendships and strengthen identity
-
Tools to navigate anxiety, relationships, identity, and purpose with confidence and clarity
🧭 Core Values
🔹 Proactive Approach:
We equip girls with tools before crises happen. GRS teaches young girls to be forward-thinking, emotionally prepared, and spiritually anchored as they navigate adolescence.
🔹 Holistic Development:
GRS is not a lecture or halaqa—it's an experiential learning space where emotional intelligence, character strength, and real-world skills are nurtured.
🔹 Challenging Growth:
We encourage girls to lean into discomfort, speak their truth, and face fear with bravery. Actual growth occurs when they stretch, reflect, and take action.
🔹 Parental Partnership:
We actively engage parents to create alignment between home and program goals. Each family receives a Parent Toolkit to stay connected to what their daughter is learning and experiencing.
