Meet the Facilitator: Mohamed Taha
Mohamed Taha is a community-oriented student from Dacula, Georgia, who is passionate about technology, mentorship, and youth empowerment. He is studying Data Science and Analytics at Georgia State University and is especially interested in the intersection of innovation, leadership, and social impact. Mohamed has worked on projects involving machine learning, cloud infrastructure, and interactive web platforms. He has also participated in student organizations centered on leadership, collaboration, and service.
As the oldest of three brothers, Mohamed has witnessed firsthand how social media, peer pressure, and cultural expectations can shape boys’ understanding of identity and self-worth. These experiences strengthened his commitment to creating safe, encouraging spaces where boys can develop confidence, character, and a healthy sense of identity.
Whether through technology, mentoring, or community service, Mohamed believes that equipping young people with social-emotional intelligence and leadership skills helps create a more promising future.
“We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” — Franklin D. Roosevelt
